We collect and process the following personal data: • Account data: Name, email address (via Google, Apple, or email sign-in) • Profile data: Gender, style preferences, preferred outfit count • Wardrobe data: Photos and descriptions of your clothing items • Usage data: Outfit history, influencer follows, style preferences • Device data: Device type, operating system, app version • Weather data: Approximate location for weather-based outfit recommendations (not stored)
3. Purpose of Data Processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes: • Providing personalized outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe and weather • AI-powered style analysis using OpenAI Vision API • Managing your digital wardrobe • Influencer style matching and recommendations • Improving our services and user experience • Processing premium subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchase
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: • Supabase (Database & Authentication) — EU servers • OpenAI API (AI outfit analysis) — data processed per OpenAI's data usage policy, not used for training • Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In (Authentication) • RevenueCat (Subscription management) • OpenWeather API (Weather data) Your wardrobe photos are sent to OpenAI for analysis only when you explicitly request an outfit recommendation. Photos are not stored by OpenAI.
5. Data Storage & Security
• Your data is stored on secure servers in the EU (Supabase) • All data transmission is encrypted via TLS/SSL • Wardrobe photos are stored securely and accessible only to your account • We do not sell your personal data to third parties • We do not use your data for advertising purposes
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: • Access your personal data • Correct inaccurate data • Delete your account and all associated data • Export your data • Withdraw consent at any time To exercise these rights, contact us at info@bananerd.ch or use the account deletion option in the app settings.
7. Data Retention
• Account data is retained as long as your account is active • When you delete your account, all personal data including wardrobe photos is permanently deleted within 30 days • Anonymous usage statistics may be retained for service improvement
8. Children's Privacy
My GRWM is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@bananerd.ch.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
